Getting Started

Start with the work that matters to your role as a leader or member.

Start with the job in front of you

Choose your role below. Each path is short, task-oriented, and links to the deeper guide only when you need it.

Band leader

Add chosen songs to Repertoire, review Suggestions, and protect rehearsal focus.

  1. Go to the artist

    Choose the artist you lead. Wewamo keeps shared songs, people, rehearsals, and decisions in that artist's context.

  2. Shape the candidate pool

    Open Songs and use Add song. Suggest a cover for consideration, or place a chosen cover in Preparing, In rehearsal, or Gig-ready. Share originals through Add from My Songs. Suggestions is available from every list, and an optional vote can help the band choose.

  3. Protect rehearsal focus

    Let members prepare before starting shared work, keep In rehearsal deliberate, and explicitly graduate songs when they are Gig-ready.

Band member

Start in Repertoire, assess your part honestly, and use Home Practice for songs you are learning or choose to maintain.

  1. Open Songs

    Choose your artist, then Songs. Use Preparing, In rehearsal, or Gig-ready to find a chosen song and assess your part. My practice list shows Learning songs and your private Keep on my practice list choices; Songs with my role narrows the list to your parts.

  2. Set honest readiness

    Assess your part as Not started, Learning, or Ready. Not assessed means you have not checked it yet. Learning tells the band you cannot rehearse it together yet and adds the song to your practice list. When you can rehearse together, mark Ready. Keep on my practice list is a separate private choice in every active repertoire stage.

  3. Bring ensemble work to rehearsal

    Use shared time for timing, transitions, arrangement choices, and blockers that need the whole band.
